Some evidence that shows Republicans want royalty, not a real president
When you watch the candidates intermingling with voters on Cspan, all the Democratic candidates and their supporters are completely opposite in behavior than Bush and his supporters were in 2000 in two different ways.

One is -- when I watched Bush on Cspan in 2000, he would stand in one spot surrounded by Texas Marshalls with obvious earpieces acting just the way that the Secret Service acts when they are with the president. Either he was paranoid or was trying to look "presidential" because none of the Democrats have security that acts like that. I saw Clark in person and I saw a guy I thought was his security person, but I wasn't even sure, he was so unobtrusive.

Two is -- when the supporters would come up to Bush, they rarely asked questions or wanted to discuss policy. Most of the time they said something like, "I just love your parents...blah...blah...blah " and he would acknowledge the compliments with his typical attitude.

I think that shows that the Republicans must love the fact that he acts like royalty, but why on earth would they want that?

3. Because your average Republican is fucking clueless
They encourage Royalty and nobility for the same reason that they support practices that only help the elites, and will hurt them.

I can't explain it.

4. I read a book about his father once and it said....
That these boys would fight to be in the lime light and who would get the press. It was when I started being turned off on Bush's sons.

5. The bush family believes they are royalty
They certainly feel "titled" & "entitled" Who knows maybe all that in breeding caused their lack of attention to detail - mental capacity.

that's the reason why the booshes are insane. Royal blood-line of the Pierces (baba boosh pierce) were schizophenics.

7. The Republican Party is the Party of aristocracy. During the Revolutionary
War, IMHO, they would have been known as Tories/Royalists and would have opposed the patriots and supported their king in England.

10. Exactly.
It is not a coincidence that 21st Century Amerika is about NOTHING 20th Century was about.

The 20th Century was about egalitarianism and making the world a better place.

The 21st Century Age of Totalitarianism is rooted in special privelege and inequality at all levels. The 21st Century isn't about making the world better for the duture...it's about sucking the rinds dry and profiting off the leftover spat out seeds.

8. A real democracy require complicated thought about issues that are
multi-faceted. Pubbies have long shown that they think in black and white. Democracy is darn hard work. Monarchy just require that you comply - much simpler.

12. They want to be told what to do.
They want to have a dominant male figure to order them about and, in turn, they want to have people they consider lower than themselves to dominate. They crave hierarchy.
