Don Evans, Cabinet Sec. just said it's no big deal only 1000 jobs
were created.

He is on Hardball right now, & he's just blowing off all the lost jobs & all the unemployed.

How's that for "Compassionate Conservatism?"

The Dems should get a copy of this & run it during the GE race.

1. Yeah, he just did the same thing on Lou Dobbs
Check DU for today's Lou Dobbs discussions. It reminds me of the time at Live Aid that Phil Collins flew the Concorde so that he could play in the U.S.A. and U.K. on the same day. Evans is everywhere and he just won't shut up or acknowledge the reports. Remember, everyone, this is a classic Karl Rove tactic: when you are confronted by information that you can't spin, respond with something similar to "That Just Isn't True."

3. How about changing the title of your post?
to his more outrageous to more outrageous claim that "this economy is creating 1,000,000 jobs per week." I've heard him say it twice now today. He's talking about the GLOBAL economy.

4. Well, I think it's a pretty big deal to the unemployed and underemployed
and I think that the dumbasses will find that out in November. By the way, what do you think these idiot media spinners for the Bush* regime will do then? What line of work will those pandering asswipes be looking for?

5. Only a 99.3 percent margin of error.
That's almost a gimme.

6. Too Stupid to be President was saying it was a great start.
Yeah, in the Christmas season when there should be tons of hiring for those sales jobs they only managed to pull off a thousand new jobs, and this moron thinks it's good.

Bush's economy sucks. Poeple can't find work, and when they do, they are starting at the bottom at pitiful salaries. And few are getting benefits.

Wake Up America!
