Dean takes presidential campaigns into new era
http://wvgazette.com/section/Columns/200308279

He was recently featured on the cover of Time and Newsweek and he has many Democrats running scared. No, I’m not talking about Arnold Schwarzenegger, but rather presidential hopeful Howard Dean.

Who is Howard Dean and why such an interest in this virtually unknown former physician turned governor of the tiny state of Vermont?

Rewind to September 1998 when two Silicon Valley entrepreneurs who shared deep frustration with impeachment and the lack of congressional leadership formed a Web site called www.MoveOn.org as a means for taking action. In the early stages, it was becoming apparent to tech-savvy insiders that the Internet would soon become a powerful political tool

3. Dean will terminate the Bush Admin...
Regardless of whether Dean gets the nomination or not, the electoral process of how campaigns organize and raise funds has embarked on an unfamiliar path. This path may lead to a rickety road sign saying “Hasta la vista, Mr. President.”

7. Thanks for posting!
I like the way the writer brings it home to West Virginians --

"...West Virginians may find him to be a viable candidate. Dr. Dean is a strong advocate for universal health care, he talks the John McCain straight talk, and he is against gun control."
