Op-Ed: Bush, Stalin, and Mistakes
New Raw Story op-ed by expat D.A. Blyler hits hard on the the last debate question by town hall guest Linda Grabel, when she asked the president to cite any wrong decisions in his presidency. The piece is prefaced with this fitting quote:

-snip-

"Everyone can err, but Stalin considered that he never erred, that he was always right. He never acknowledged to anyone that he made any mistake, large or small, despite the fact that he made not a few mistakes in the matter of theory and in his practical activity."

Nikita Kruschev, Soviet Premier, 1956

-snip/-

To read the whole op-ed go to Linda Grabel's Concern

1. I wonder if Saddam or Mussolini ever acknowledged mistakes.
I'm quite certain Hitler didnt.

In what illustrious company does this put our fabulous president?

2. Bush always says he's a "bold leader". Stalin, Hitler and Mao
were also bold leaders. Just not necessarily all that "good".

3. That's what I like to see...
Bush compared to Stalin. There really are a disturbing number of similarities...

4. Is Bush really Stallin?
Is this what the race for the presidency has come to...quoting Kruschev to draw equivalencies between President Bush and the butcher Stalin? This is really kind of sad, people.

5. Ever hear of hyperbole?
This isn't a butcher comparison. It's a mind set comparison.
