TUESDAY morning, as President Bush headed for a Texas golf course, he told reporters: “A free Iraq will make the Middle East a more peaceful place.”

Two hours later, a Muslim suicide bomber driving an explosives-packed cement truck shattered the U.N. headquarters in Baghdad, killing two dozen humanitarian relief workers, including the director.

All of President Bush’s stated reasons for starting the Iraq war turned out to be false. To this day, Americans don’t know the real reason why he ordered the attack, instead of letting U.N. inspectors comb Iraq for any illegal weapons.

There is no excuse for anyone not to know the truth behind the Bush Administrations motives for the attack on Iraq. And there is no reason for anyone not to know how hopeless the situation is. And there is absolutely no reason that anyone who isn't delusional can come up with to support these thugs.
