Tea Party Chews Up Perry, Then Spits Him Out Like the Rest
A new polls show Rick Perry down substantially and Herman Cain gaining some major momentum in the race for the Republican nomination. Meanwhile, Chris Christie has said - this time he presumably really means it - that he's not running for president this time around.

Is Perry just another shooting star in the tea party firmament? Barely a month ago, he was a golden boy, riding the crest of a wave 12 points ahead of Mitt Romney with nearly 30% support. Now, the latest Washington Post/ABC News poll shows he's down at 16% ... nine points behind Romney and dead even with Cain, who barely registered at just 4% a month ago.

Mitt Romney must be chuckling to himself as the tea party crowd latches onto one candidate after another, then quickly discards each in turn when he or she doesn't measure up. It's almost like a revolving door or a game of musical chairs.

3. It Was Not So Long Ago
that Perry was riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave. And if you've been watching the news over the last several weeks, you can almost see the high-water mark-—that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.

4. Same with Bachmann ...
... I think this shows the Tea Party population's basic 'mental instability' and their political/social immaturity to keep chasing the flavor of the day and not really knowing what the hell it is they stand for or who they stand behind.

They don't know what they want, they just know they're mad and wanna make other folks suffer for it ... that's becoming obvious (hopefully) to the rest of the grownups in the country.
