My ltr -- please critique or comment
Congressman Steve Womack sends out a weekly email called “From the Front.” For some time I was confused about this and now I understand. He is at war, and we, his constituents are his enemy.

Last week, Congressman Womack voted against our state receiving $987 MILLION DOLLARS to repair our infrastructure and put some of our citizens back to work, because the wealthiest among us might have to pay their fair share.
Then he left work to go on vacation for the next week while our government shuts down. We know that worked out the last time he did that; it cost us over one trillion dollars and a downgrade in our credit rating. Good job, Steve.

But my question is this; Why does Steve Womack hate our country? He voted to approve billions in infrastructure repair, just not for us. That boon will go to Iraq and Afghanistan. Meanwhile, our state suffers in abject poverty as one in four go to bed hungry at night right here in Arkansas. Good job, Steve.

Class warfare? Steve Womack says so every week as he sends his missives “From the Front.”

11. Okay, the final draft.
Congressman Steve Womack sends out a weekly email called “From the Front.” For some time I was confused about this title but now I understand. He is at war, and we, his constituents are his enemy.

Last week, Congressman Womack voted against our state receiving $987 MILLION DOLLARS to repair our roads, bridges and dams, which would have put some of our citizens back to work because the wealthiest among us would have to pay their fair tax share. Steve left work last Friday to go on vacation for the next week, which will force our government to shut down. We all know how it worked out the last time he voted against us; it cost us taxpayers over one TRILLION dollars and our credit rating was downgraded. Heck of a job, Steve.

Oh, and by the way, I hope you first week Social Security beneficiaries don’t need your check on time because Steve is out visiting his real constituents, assuring them he won’t raise their taxes while assuring that your children go to bed without food. Heck of a job, Steve.

So my question is this; Why does Steve Womack hate our country? Last week even as he voted NO on the Jobs Bill, he did vote to approve BILLIONS in infrastructure repair. It’s just not for our state or country. That boon will go to Iraq and Afghanistan. Meanwhile, our citizens suffer in abject poverty as one in four of us go to bed hungry every night right here in Arkansas. Heck of a job, Steve.

Class warfare? Steve Womack says “Yes” every week as he sends out his missives “From the Front.”
