Obama is a Kenya-Born Muslim: Pat Boone
He sucked as a singer. And now he's just nuts, and filled with hate:

"Former singing star and now Republican activist Pat Boone has repeated his assertions that President Barack Obama was born in Kenya and therefore illegible to be in the White House.

In an appearance at a Republican convention in Los Angeles, Boone, a member of the Beverly Hills Tea Party, told reporters: “I was in Kenya a year and a half ago and everybody said, ‘You know, he was born here.”

He added: “Why else would he be hiding all his records? He is spending millions of dollars so we do not have his records. And experts have already looked at and been able to verify that this long form document is a fraud. But the media ignores it; a total fraud. A photoshopped fraud.”

Boone also doesn’t think Obama is a Christian. . ."

1. How "Christian" of him.
Doesn't he realize that lying is against the 10 Commandments?

Well, I can't always read him, but I don't think he's illegible.

10. WHAT!
"...Everyone who opposes marriage between a man and a woman was born of a man and woman.”...'

Yet another group being ignored by corporate media? I had no idea the opposition to woman-man marriage was so widespread.

11. Boone is a judgemental ass just like he was when he thought
he was a singer. He is using his religion to measure all other religions. Thus anyone who disagrees with him is not a Christian. Judge not, patty boy.

20. My thought too ...
his songs were probably as popular as ever they would be about the same time that Elvis was first becoming known. I remember my eighth grade teacher at the time commenting on how Elvis would end up in the dust bin of history while Boone would likely eclipse Frank Sinatra.

Epic fail!

18. And Pat Boone's mother was a wombat
making him ineligible for constitutionally protected speech. He belongs in a circus freak show, not at Tea Party rallies. Not that there's much of a difference.

29. That's the wrong kind of tea in your bag, Pat
He thought he could sing metal. His audience hated him, the metal audience hated him, the only audience he had was ironic.

Now he thinks he can make political commentary.

It's too bad there's no market for irony in politics. America would be wealthy again.

32. Years ago my mom, in a moment of what can only be called temporary insanity
took me and my best friend from high school, both aged 14, across country to California and back the summer between freshman and sophomore years. My mom loved Las Vegas, not for the gambling but because it was one of the few places west of the Hackensack River that she could get the NY Times, a decent cup of coffee and soft bread rolls at breakfast - her three favorite things in the morning. We stayed a few days so that she could get caught up on the news and rest from the ordeal of having 2 teenagers in the car. While in Vegas she thought it would be nice for us to see a show at one of the casinos and we tried to get tickets to one or two of the ones that were for a younger crowd, with no luck. Finally the concierge at the hotel we were staying at suggested Circus Circus as being age appropriate. So one evening we all went there. It was noisy, crowded and lots of fun. But the thing that made it stick out in my mind was our encounter with Pat Boone. Mom, Eileen and I were standing in front of one of the arcade games booths watching, when Eileen gasped that she had just seen Pat Boone. I wasn't sure of who he was, but my mom's reaction took the cake - she turned towards the person she thought was Eileen and said "Pat who?". However the person wasn't Eileen, but rather Pat Boone, wearing what I found out later were his signature white buck shoes. I'll never forget the look of dismay on his face.

35. Well, he got himself a little publicity.
He hasn't had a hit record in decades, he is given short shrift on the "birth of rock and roll" documentaries where he's usually seen as the guy who did the clumsy covers of Fats Domino/Little Richard records, sanitizing it all for white people, the wholesome churchy alternative to Elvis.

But he can get his name out there once again by jumping on the birther bandwagon. Bless the U.S. PR machine.
