Who should resign?
Who should resign?

Reagan funneled money to death squads to the Central American nations of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. Thousands of peasant farmers, native people, and others were killed in the process.
The already divorced Ronald Reagan also fornicated with Nancy before they were married. http://www.edwinkagin.com/columns/restoring-family.htm

Reagan resigned after that, right?

Bush sent troops to fight overseas and die using the lies of weapons of mass destruction being in Iraq. Meanwhile, our troops tortured and killed innocent civilians for little benefit. Later, Bush left office in shame, correct?

Joseph Lieberman backed John McCain over Barack Obama and he’s still in the good graces of the party. He retained his committee seats, and he wasn’t even censured for fighting against almost every Obama initiative. What, they didn’t think another Democrat could win in Connecticut? He pushed the Iraq War with the same lies Bush used. But the democrats love his support of murder. I least he didn’t send a Tweet of his junk, right?
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ben-cohen/ten-democrats-who-should_b_147167.html And now Lieberman is talking about starting a war in Syria. http://gawker.com/5786515/get-excited-for-joe-liebermans-war-in-syria He should resign over this, right? He did try to usurp the President’s power. Isn’t that treason?

1. Reagan wasn't elected to any political office while he and Nancy were
doing it premaritally. He met Nancy in 1949, and they married in 1952, so I guess he could have resigned as president of the Screen Actors Guild, but as its' members elected him to that office seven different times to one-year terms, I guess they weren't bothered by it.

Lieberman just happened to benefit from the math of being the 60th Senator for our caucus, if he had been the 59th or the 61st, it would have gone differently for him. It's an accident of history that even he knows can't happen again.

so what about funding death squads, and what about backing McCain over Obama?

Do you really think the photo of Weiner was worse than those offenses.

You avoid the point of the post.

That's annoying and pathetic.

Now, what about the point I was making, that killing strangers and destroying the economy are worse than a Weiner photo?

Peace,
Tex Shelters

6. Of course those things were worse
I'm not making apologies for anything evil Reagan did during his Presidency, but can we focus on those, rather than making up some imaginary case about him resigning his presidency because he schtupped Nancy before they were married?

I'd just like to see our criticisms of the Reagan and Bush years to be grounded in some sort of reality, and not be easily dismissed.

7. I did
And because I didn't respond to 100% of it, you conclude that I didn't read it?

Are you very convincing when you argue your points with the reich wingers? Or do they just roll their eyes at you?
