It's official: The Wisconsin Legislature is under control of non-serious, logic-impaired children in the bodies of grown-ups. Under the concealed-carry weapons bill moving through committees, the latest version would require no permits or training in order to carry a concealed gun. Worse, the bill's author, Sen. Pam Galloway (R-Wausau), told a committee at a hearing on the measure yesterday that she would support allowing people to bring guns into the Capitol. Replied Sen. Jon Erpenbach (D-Middleton): "So what's the point of having metal detectors?"
