Caution Church Ahead: Untitled
FRIDAY, MARCH 18, 2011

This is just getting out of hand, as more and more real Americans find their way out of the morass of bullshit fundamentalist religion, a small cadre of lunatics keep trying to legislatively drag us back to the dark ages. It's time to stand up to these repugnant bullies and demand that our country stay free for people of all, and no, faith.

I encourage everyone who reads this to speak out, and spread the word.

Courtesy of Zachary Bos, of the Boston Atheists:

The House of Representatives Judiciary Committee will vote today on whether to reaffirm "In God We Trust" as the national motto of the United States, and encourage its public display in all public buildings, public schools, and other government institutions. The text of the resolution says in part, "... in times of national challenge or tragedy, the people of the United States have turned to God as their source for sustenance, protection, wisdom, strength, and direction." Some Americans have found in their religion the strength to bear up against difficult times; others have found reason in their religion to deny medical care to children, to commit murder, to collude with terrorism, to deny other Americans their equal part of civil liberty, and other anti-social behavior.

1. Aren't there real problems out there for them to deal with?
why is there a need to waste time with trivial shit like this?

3. Because it's not trivial to them.
To them it's very important. More important than earthquakes and tsunamis. More important than nuclear meltdowns. More important than economic meltdowns. More important than wars and revolutions and no-fly zone resolutions.

Which is why they should not be in government. They care more about trivial shit then they do about real world problems.

5. Is this the same "god" that the lunatic preacher recently said "disciplined" Japan
with an earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster? I don't want the Republicon "god" anywhere near our children let alone splashed all over the country for everyone to have to be reminded of. Just keep the Separation of Church and State the way it is, their "god" is too violent and evil to allow "it" to be forced on all of us.
