Conspiracy theorists find validation from Glenn Beck
-----

"I do enjoy Glenn Beck," Williams also says, "and the reason why I enjoy that is because... no other channel will speak about the same things that he's talking about, and if you go and investigate those things you'll find out that they're true."

Unfortunately for Beck, this satisfied viewer currently resides at the Santa Rita Jail near Oakland and stands accused of a freeway shootout with police. Williams pleaded not guilty to four counts of attempted murder of a police officer. But according to court documents, he said he had been on a mission to kill people at the liberal Tides Foundation, which happens to be a favorite Beck target

-----

"Beck is going to deny everything about violent approach, deny everything about conspiracies," Williams told the freelance journalist John Hamilton, who did the interview to be published by Media Matters. "But he'll give you every reason to believe it. He's protecting himself, and you can't blame him for that. So, but I understand what he's doing."

Listening to Beck, Williams explained, "you can pick up ideas and you can get on your Internet and just verify it."

Why didn't the right believe
9/11 was an 'inside job.' I did for a time and still have a a few 'small' doubts. Anyone else?

3. Plenty
The Bush administration lied to us about everything else. I find it hard to believe they told us the truth just this once.

4. Thank you fellow traveler
I don't bring it up here on DU because when I'm chastised by anyone on DU it makes an impression.

The rest of the Unless of course it's a respected member of the left, then I waiver back and forth.

The rest of the world, not at all. ;)

5. The willingness of some around here to bury their heads in the sand
is disheartening. I'd rather not believe that Bushco could be responsible (in part or in whole) for 9/11, but too many things didn't happen that day that should have and vice versa. There's just NO WAY that every single person involved was stricken by incompetence on that day and that day only. Bush being incompetent I'll buy. But EVERYONE?

2. I wonder
I saw this and wondered if there will be any todo about it. The Washington Post even. I thought Dana did a good job on the article. It is high time there is responsibility given to what incitement is happening. I think "enabler" was a little lean, but ok. I would call it a incitement to direction. But I am very biased against telling lies and spreading mis-information.
