NPR: Leaked Documents Add To The Democrats' Dilemma
NPR ... One reason why the Democrats won control of both chambers of Congress in 2006 was because of the public's weariness over the Bush-led wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But the release of these documents may put some Democrats in a bind over what to do with the latter war that is now being conducted by a president of their own party. Afghanistan may not be a "war of Obama's choosing," as Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele famously said. But it is his war and he is asking Congress to fund it....

4. Great plan - NOT!
That is a great plan to elect Republicans. Presidents who lose wars never get reelected.

Truman left office with the worst rating in history

5. Well, let's see...
The pukes won't stop the war if they get back in power...

You're advocating that the Dems keep the war going while they're in power (and after all, who really gives a fuck about the people dying when there's politics at stake)...

So the war goes on forever.

Nice plan you've got there!

3. Easy solution: pull the troops out.
It's not the leaked docs that put the Dems in a dilemma; it's the wars and keeping them going.
