CNN: Why Obama doesn't dare become the 'angry black man'
http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/06/08/rage.obama/index.html?hpt=C2

CNN.com has lost their minds:

"If you've followed the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster, you've heard the complaints that Obama isn't showing enough emotion. But scholars say Obama's critics ignore a lesson from American history: Many white Americans don't like angry black men. "

On the front page it actually said:

"But scholars say history has shown that African-American men can frighten white people if they display too much anger"

Why this spent an hour as the article on the top of the front-page I don't know. Is this supposed to be journalism? Way to stereotype both black and white people in the same article CNN! Also, when is CNN going to stop trying to make President Obama's race an issue? They try to present themselves as the unbiased source for news but they can't get over the fact that our President is black!

4. Obama could be an angry Hawaiian and get away with it
Maybe Obama could threaten to throw the BP CEO into Kilauea Volcano, and let the God Pele kick his ass to appease his "he's not angry enough" critics.

5. Yes, they lost their minds.
No, it's not recent. They lost them during the campaign 2 years ago when people pointed out his lack of anger and passion and the response was that Obama was a victim. After all, if he shows anger then he'll lose the white vote, and he needs the vote of his oppressors.

Same defense here as there. It's not a flaw or failing, or even a mismatch between Obama the man and what the public expects. No, he's a victim, compelled to behave unnaturally because otherwise racists would punish him. Unlike CNN reporters, of course, who are far superior in their fixatedness.

It's goofy. It's all goofy.
