Significant Republicans (editor catches astroturfer in the act)
"The extreme liberal slant of your publication is so imbalanced as to be ludicrous, don’t you think it’s time to get with the program and understand that a significant part of your readership is Republican and not Democrat? The President’s jobs and growth policies have put the economy on the road to recovery, but there is more work to be done. .." Thus begins a letter to the editor of The Pulse, a local Twin Cities entertainment weekly, which has a contributing writer who writes leftist analyses of various issues.

Here's the full letter and the editor's reply:

1. Found this in a Florida blog by a google search.
Wouldn't it be fun to contact this group? Let them know that the guy's letter is astroturf?

http://www.hometimes.org/mayweb/letters.html

Here is the mission of this website:
SNIP..."MISSION: to develop circulation, non-daily newspaper here and in independent local editions in the state and ultimately across America, Biblical in worldview, pro-family, pro-life, positive and patriotic; encouraging people of faith by counteracting the worldly views of today’s secular media; communicating hope to all of our neighbors. We shall develop a prototype here in Southeast Florida; then "franchise" that model across the nation in many markets and in a national edition, with an aggregate paid circulation in the millions. In short, we will bring a revolution in American journalism.

Yeh, and print GOP spin. Look for the letter by a John Cummings.

7. Easy to spot
The rheotic of these letters is almost always the same. The dorks who write these things must have attended the same re-education camp.

3. How I wish I could have seen "Julie Ann's" face...

...and the best part is, the cat is out of the bag: Another Repug tool based on lies and deceit has been outed.

The Repugs are going to be such history come November, and watching Shrub lead the sniveling bunch out will almost make up for all he has subjected upon this country and the world.

Almost.

5. Our newspaper recently developed a policy about this after
I called and wrote them repeatedly and then passed the information on to several of the Democratic Party chapters around here. The editor told me that no one else had complained, and since I knew that others were upset, i just let them know that no one was complaining.

Anyway, the editor developed a policy about this and stated that if anyone submitted Astro-Turf and it somehow got by their review, that person would not be allowed to have their Letters to the Editor published in the future.

We were so excited! We actually got a policy in place in our otherwise right-wing paper!
