2. He tried to get a discharge largely because he was a muslim

and had religious issues with the war; non-muslims killing muslims.

And he didn't yell "I'm a conscientious objector" before shooting up the place.

4. I said right from the get go, that if what I was hearing was true.....

then it sounded like the military dropped the ball on this one.IMO
