It’s President Barack Obama’s birthday. And what will that party be like? As an added surprise will Nancy Pelosi jump out of the cake? Or will it be Rush Limbaugh? (If that’s the case it will have to be pretty big cake and it’ll be the first birthday cake filled with baloney.)

What kinds of presents will he get?

A friendly bit of advice, Mr. President: If you get one from House Minority Leader Eric Cantor make sure it’s not ticking. If you get a package from the late Michael Jackson’s mother, it could be one of the singer’s heir-loom quality noses. Vice President Joe Biden might give the President another shoe he can use when he sticks his foot in his mouth (he lent him one for Obama’s pronouncements on the Gates controversy).

According to the New York Daily News, Obama’s own present to himself on his 48th birthday was bowling 144, a marked improvement on the 37 he bowled during the campaign. (Hey, Mr. Prez: I once bowled a 13…)
