Kill the Supreme Court
From The Regressive Antidote by David Michael Green

--snip--

"On any given closely fought ideological issue before the Supreme Court today, you can very, very safely bet on the voting pattern of the nine justices. The regressive bloc of four will always support conservative positions on social questions, state and corporate power over individuals and the public interest, and executive power over the other branches of government. The moderate bloc will nmostly take the other side, though a bit less dependably. Justice Kennedy (the guy who got Bork's slot) will decide whether the case is a 5-4 decision or a 4-5 one, though he will join the regressive bloc about three times out of every four. Simple as that."

1. You Were Unrecommended
Because you dared to blow away the corporate smoke of accommodation to point out that the branch of government most dedicated to protecting the rights of ordinary citizens has gone over to the other side. And you're right they are regressive and more so reactionary. They overturned a ruling almost a 100 years old, Manufacturers can now dictate to their wholesalers at what price they must sell a product for. No more suggested list price, this is the price sell it for less and we'll cut you off!

Think about this, I buy something from you and I pay you money for it but you can still tell me what I can do with it. If you say no, I can't even give it away!

Hear that! That's freedom on the march! Better listen up because it's marching the other way

3. Thanks, Daveparts
I think one of the saddest days in our country's recent history was the one when Sammy Alito's wife left the hearing room in tears because those bad committee members were beating up on her husband.

2. The title of your post is regressive. The USA should be an oasis from political assassination.
