1. The GOP are trying hard to distract from this issue
Also, Cheney has suddenly vanished from the talk show scene these past 10 or so days. This leaves Liz to hold the fort with her defense of Daddy.

If not for her maiden name, where would she be today?.

15. And Liz's excuse that of couse she wasn't in the room with her dad
when he didn't do anything. Let's be very clear about that. Liz doesn't really know what didn't happen, but she denies everything.

8. Liz Cheney said her father was nervous. Where is he now?
crooksandliars.com — Liz Cheney, perhaps inadvertently, admitted that part of the reason we've seen Dick Cheney more in the last two months than we did in the eight years of the Bush administration is that he is very nervous that there will be investigations and prosecutions in his future.

Keep going. Don't let any of them get away with anything.

25. There are only two ways those members of the US government
Edited on Sun Jul-19-09 05:53 PM by The abyss
will ever be held accountable for their crimes, and that includes past, present & future politicians, members of the military, members of the “security” apparatus, etc…

1) We, the people, do what needs to be done and start hanging them from lampposts and flagpoles. Shooting any and all that outrun the mobs and set fire to the rest. This involves pressing “reset” on at least a century of lies. For graphic details please see “French revolution” and all that entailed.

2) The nation collapses and is invaded and occupied by an allied force that has determined the US government is a general threat to any and all on this planet. For graphic details please see “Nuremberg Trials”.

Other than these options I don’t see much chance of anyone connected to these horrors ever seeing a public prosecutor.

Much to my dismay!

31. French Revolution vs Nuremberg Trials -- Tough Choice...
Edited on Sun Jul-19-09 07:32 PM by Son Of Wendigo
I prefer the Nuremberg trials version. That way the prosecutors and judges won't let the defendants bray "We was just following orders!" Every defense attorney, from Cheney's on down probably is already rehearsing his client on this crucial excuse.

Tho' I do wonder what Bush's excuse will be. "God told me to do it" perhaps.

NBII: Return Of The Constitution (Think of the box office ratings!)

It could even be that all it would take was his public volunteering.

Anybody got a line to him?

Does anyone on here really think anything will come of this? We all may hope.. But with an administration in office that uses the same phrase as the last ten admin's "Look Forward", We know that tricky Dicks words were actually true.. If your President (or VP) its not illegal... way to go America..
