Jon Stewart vs. Goldman Sachs

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart takes on Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) in a segment called Pyramid Economy, this is a must watch. "I guess the bailout is working...for Goldman Sachs." A great recap of what Goldman accomplished last quarter and how much money they are making while the rest of America is scraping by.

3. It's hard to laugh at that.
This isn't "socialism for the rich." Socialism implies that the government helps those that need help, and takes from those who don't need help but are able to provide help for others. That isn't what is happening.

This is Government organized and subsidized class warfare. Goldman Sachs and our Government are colluding to suck resources away from low income people and into the hands of wealthy people. It is organized mass-scale theft.

What aid is given, or where has nothing to do with need. What is taken, and from whom, has nothing to do with what anyone can provide. In fact, the relationship is pretty neatly backward. The more you need the less help you are offered. The more you are able to provide the more you are given.

:(
