4. Thanks for posting link to slide show! Great pics to kick off the weekend.
I love how he enjoys those moments with real people.

One senses he understands the importance of acknowledging people; that what they cherish is that the person in the Office took the time to look them in the eye, bump fists, chests, just be real with them. It isn't so much about 'Obama' or the 'cult of personality' the RW grumbles about. It is more of Obama understanding the need to make the Presidency relevant and really demonstrate so people understand the President knows they are relevant.

That human touch goes a long way to empower people. That is the way to grow a garden full of future leaders and public servants. He is just continuing his role of community activist. The community will get bigger and more productive for his and Michelle's efforts.
