Some tasty bits.
---

The sense of panic and fear engulfing the whole fascist project here in the USA is palpable. Calls resound from the editorial desks
of the sycophant press for revenge for the killings of the mercenaries in Falluja and the rebellion of the Shia elsewhere in Iraq.
Brave generals promise bloody revenge and iron retribution.

---

As it became obvious that their armies could not stop the advancing US forces, certainly could not stop them with conventional
warfare, the old Iraqi regime ordered most of its soldiers to disperse to their homes. To take with them whatever weapons they
could.

Islamist prisoners of the old regime were released from the jails and prisons before the Americans reached Baghdad to provide
leaders for their followers. In effect, Saddam's last act was to build a massive underground territorial army, one composed of many
factions, but also of many divisions. And providing it at once with both armament and leadership.

And, while doubtless this was planned long in advance of the outbreak of war, the actual work was accomplished in a matter
of mere days. We now see that this plan has been successful .. wildly successful.
