Ruth Madoff, Sociopath

The Bag Lady Returns

by Alexandra Penney

Madoff victim and Daily Beast blogger Alexandra Penney has discovered an even more repugnant sociopath than Bernie: his loyal wife Ruth, who now wants to keep $69 million, including the penthouse. Outraged Penney asks: Excusez moi?

Here I am trying to save my financial ass by sitting in a small cold kitchen attempting to write a book. Up until five minutes ago, I felt like a cloistered nun interminably praying at a keyboard for words and sentences to materialize.

Then… OMG! OMG! I just read the newspapers and the need to rant and rave and vent and scream and punch things has possessed me. Mrs. MF (aka motherfucker), sweet innocent little Ruthie, the MF’s life-partner for over 50 years, may possess more colossal cojones and be a more repulsive sociopath than even the MF—although this is difficult to conceive of.

Sweet innocent Ruthie and her children are claiming to be victims as well. This witch has 69 million bucks and each member of her family wants $500,000? My God. She’s a sociopath just like her life-partner.

Her lawyers have asked that she keep personal assets amounting to $69 million in bonds and cash that are “unrelated to the alleged Madoff fraud.” This amazing sum includes the glamorous penthouse where the revolting MF is still sitting pretty.

Of that amount, $45 million is in municipal bonds on deposit at Cohmad Securities Corp, which is co-owned by her MF husband. I was so close to vomiting on my computer when I read this that I had to calm myself by taking a walk around the block, which gave me more time to think and enraged me even more.

1. Compare this to the forfeiture laws regarding the War on Drugs

Disgusting.
One of my favorite quotes:
"Without religion the poor would have eaten the rich long ago"!
Another good reason to reevaluate our dependence on dogma.

those same laws.

3. I want to see all of Madoff's family
in the same soup kitchen lines as the people who have lost jobs are in.

He had his sons "turn him in" so that they could keep the ill-gotten wealth that he's been passing along to them for decades now. My guess is that he's never going to see the inside of a prison cell, that he told his sons to turn him in because he's gotten some sort of fatal diagnosis. He has enough information on enough people to slowly let it slip out over time, and keep himself on 'pent'house arrest for the rest of his days.

If they do get to keep any of the stolen money, they will have to use large amounts of it for "security", I would imagine that even Mossad agents will be after them for what they've done.

4. Nah. He Couldn't Cover the Demands for Withdrawals From His Clientele
He had the fatal disease of being without funds sufficient to cover his promises.

Everything he's done since has been to try to wheedle something out of the deal, that's true.

How about 3 meals, bed and board, light occupation in maximum security?

10. I considered that
but given the banking crisis that befell the world before his sons turned him in, he surely could have weaseled his way out of it for several more months, possibly even a couple more years. Chances are, if he had continued to turn out his phony statements, he would have been the very last "safe" place to put money. He had a golden pedigree as far as practically all the investment world was concerned.

I don't think we know half of what there is to know about Bernie Madoff. We might get a few more tidbits when his plea bargain deal comes out.

5. The entire family should be prosecuted under the RICO laws.
How fitting would that be that they would be prosecuted under a law signed by the scum bag of scum bags Nixon. They are definitely a crime family and anyone who profited from their illegal activity should be prosecuted. They are as bad as the Mafia. I wouldn't doubt that they probably suffocated some old ladies to steal their money.

7. Ruth "Martha Stewart" Madoff
I heard on one of the MSM "Spinocchio" bobble head TV shows that Ruthe authored a cookbook.

I wonder if a recipe for "cooking the books" is included?

Or" Really High off the Hog Souffle'?"
