George W. Bush is not the worst President in our history, but according to historians surveyed by C-SPAN, he keeps company witht he bottom feeders like Fillmore and Pierce. Even on the subject of International Relations, though, Bush does not rank last. Of course, WH Harrison died 32 days after taking office. Why do historians hate America?

I'd move Bush up to maybe 3rd or 4th. Nobody tops Buchanan though for number 1. Bush made a good try at it though, kudos to him. Buchanan though financially mismanaged the economy (through deficit spending - Bush learned from him) and directly caused an economic crash, helped the south secede and refused to do anything about it.

I mean the guy literally tore the country apart through his mismanagement and intended actions. Bush only tore it apart figuratively.
