Patrick Swayze: I'm Going Through Hell
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/01/06/patrick-swayze-im-going-t_n_155507.html

Patrick Swayze, who has been battling pancreatic cancer for a year, sat down with Barbara Walters for an exclusive interview that airs Wednesday night at 10 pm on ABC. Swayze has defied the tabloids that had him at death's door when his diagnosis became public.

Swayze stars in a new show "The Beast," which he filmed while fighting his cancer, which had already spread to his liver before he was even diagnosed.

"You can bet that I'm going through hell," Swayze says to Walters. "And I've only seen the beginning of it."

"There's a lot of fear here," he adds. "There's a lot of stuff going on. Yeah, I'm scared. Yeah, I'm angry. Yeah, I'm why me. Yeah, I'm all this stuff."

2. I'm so sorry.
I've always figured that when they've worked honestly hard, and given so much pleasure, they're entitled to die easy. And this seems wrong.

4. Getting him to do a show
titled Beast????????????

He is being 'played', that title alone will fire up a huge segment of population on religous issues.

Just like with "the day the world stood still, and Neo". Now any previous film he did will be seen with that attachment with a large segment of population, spining interpretations of previous work.

I don't see it as coincidence that an article is released that pulls a quote from him saying he is in hell. This is just more corporate psyops.

5. Holy shit, that's a 70% certainty, if not more. O Brave New World that has such people in it!

Though we cannot be certain.

However, you are correct. This REEKS of corporate synergy and psyops.

"Go out there and SHARE your pain, Patrick. Get REAL with your Target Audience. And while discussing your personal tragedy, DON'T FORGET to work in the references to your new show that the Psychographic Department has printed on that card for you."

Yes, indeed, the grotesque insanity of our nation (70% likely) progresses apace with this tiny mad corporate-synergistic brick in the wall.

No one deserves to get cancer, however, and I wish Patrick a speedy recovery and his Corporate Masters as well as the boys and girls in the Westinghouse-CBS Psyops Department a Happy New Year.

America is still like the Old Soviet Union in terms of the National Lies. Lies are EVERYEWHERE. They are as American as Apple Pie, and ubiquitous as nitrogen molecules.

All of our nation, from top to bottom and stem to stern, with VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS, is a lie, and those exceptions are being starved and destroyed as quickly as our Elite Masters can do so with the Plausible Deniability they crave...

6. i believe pancreatic cancer has about a 99+% chance of killing someone...
many times, it can be a matter of days after first detection (see Gene Upshaw, for example) because of the nature of its attack...

7. I think you misunderstood me. I meant a 70% chance of it being Corporate Synergy.
(Swayze's pointed use of the word "hell", though I don't doubt he has gone through hell)

I don't wish Swayze ill or anything, I'm sorry he has cancer, and I could definitely be wrong that his use of hell is a "brand-tie-in" with his new show "Beast".

But, having seen what I have seen of this nation the last 8 and really 28 years since Raygun started our descent to tyranny rolling FAST, and knowing what corporations are and how the PR Mind (if it could be called that) operates, there can be no question that Swayze was told to "say it like that", in a Network e-mail regarding pre-interview prep, or something like that.

8. Religous issues...what?
Edited on Wed Jan-07-09 08:14 AM by Longhorn Liberal
'The Beast' is about two undercover FBI agents, not a LaHayesian masturbatory fairy tale about the anti-christ.

11. When you are talking about religion
It does not matter what it is about, certain key words have pretty strong connotations.

You put that name on anything, you get a knee jerk reflex from a sizable bit of the population.

You don't have to agree with why, but it is true many would be put off just because the name, and any PR guy would know that, which is why I think it might be to stir things up.

10. I sympathize with Mr Swayze, however, hell would be going thru
what he is experiencing, and not having health insurance and watching all you have worked for all your life disappear in medical bills. Followed by living on the street because you had the poor judgment to get sick.
At least his family wont be homeless because he contracted this disease. Hope he can recover from his illness.

13. actually, without the experimental treatment
Edited on Wed Jan-07-09 01:47 PM by northernlights
he is undergoing, pancreatic cancer would have killed him within a few weeks or months tops.

Insurance would make no difference. There is a 5% survival rate at best, IF it is caught very, very early and IF it is located in a place that is operable.

Patrick's was caught early according to his doctor in an interview last year, but was inoperable. He is in an experimental treatment. I doubt his health insurance is covering the costs. Although maybe since he is a celebrity, they are.
