Philadelphia Eagles and the City of Philadelphia Libraries
In Philadelphia about the only firm running a profit nowadays is the Philadelphia Eagles, who are disputing a multi-million dollar payment to the city that is about the cost of keeping neighborhood libraries in this city open in these dark economic times. The Philadelphia Eagles need to step up and drop their legal dispute. Fly Eagles Fly with books!

6. Yes
It is exactly right. The EAgles are proud of their community involvement, but they have fought this commitment. They need to make it better.

3. Hey, who recommended this?
Regional stories don't always get a couple recommendations in just an hour. I'm interested in who those people are who recommended this.

7. eagles fans have been true blue win or lose.
so if the owners won't cough up-perhaps the players could. these people are making millions from the front office to the locker room-philly needs help. what about the rest of the philly teams. i feel really strongly about the pools and the libraries. this is where the kids who want to stay out of trouble go. the closing of the fire houses is discouraging also.

8. The team owners
do some good charity work, but they owe the city of Phila some $8MM. Time to pay up.
