The morning after the US election - Daniel Finkelstein
The Republicans have already begun fighting in advance of their expected defeat next week. One rival is predicting what another rival will say, a third is blaming a fourth. All are expecting to duke it out in the national spotlight the moment CBS calls it for Obama. So allow me to explain to these Republicans, from personal experience, that something altogether more painful is going to happen.

More here, and very satisfying it is too:

1. Well the GOP Experience Will Be SLIGHTLY Different
There's going to be a LOT of schadenfreude, mockery, and revenge. Oh, and lawsuits, indictments, investigations, and with any luck, incarcerations and asset-stripping.

It's a possibility that the GOP will cease to exist (good riddance to it).

And the Fundies will have to find some other party to trash.

They seem to be in complete denial about what is going to happen on Tues and think the future is still for them to create. If McCain wins the world will be a much darker place and the future very bleak. I hope their view of the world changes because I'm not changing mine no matter what happens. The Republican Party may never come back with thinking like I saw on that web site. Say good night Gracie.

on edit
I should have posted to the original message, my bad.
