3. one of the best interviews I've ever heard!
and thanks for the link. He had so many good ideas. What a great mind, just like his father's. Hope he has a place in our cabinet. I'm going to read his book too.

7. Galbraith said "increase Social Security Benies" "US can afford it"!
but you've got to watch the interview to see how this happens and why he thinks it's a good thing. BRILLIANT!!!

6. It was a great interview
but I don't know if I buy it that we will remain the dominant currency. China was hinting at it not being so in a recent article, Russia was floating the idea recently of a gold backed ruble, and though I know we have the longer reach I just am not so sure. It seems the rest of the world is meeting this weekend to come to some kind of agreement on how to proceed and we are not there.

His plan to fix things depends on other countries continuing to loan us money. A sucky place to be in from a national security perspective.
