There is an invisible man in the 2008 election: the president of the United States.

Republican candidates have all but shunned him, save those who need him to help raise money. And to the extent any president can keep a low profile, George W. Bush is doing it.

Don't pretend that you want nothing to do with him NOW. You stood by him when it was convenient for you, you aided and abetted his war crimes, you defended his reckless economic plans. Even now you campaign on making his tax cuts for the rich PERMANENT. How fucking dare you pretend that you're not connected to him. Do you really think we're that stupid?
