The Worst Vice Presidential Nominee in History
By Robert Elisburg at Huffington Post

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/robert-j-elisberg/the-worst-vice-presidenti_b_122491.html

I have to agree. I'm 58 and I can't think of one worse. A perfect, thorough analysis of the Palin choice. It's long, but worth reading.

I'll say something strange here. I actually prayed Thursday night, very seriously, that God would direct and inspire Obama and the team, and open the eyes of those blind Americans who have repeatedly handed power to the global predators. I asked for something to make things clear and awaken consciences.

I truly believe this choice of Palin was that prayer (and many other similar ones I'm sure), answered. I really do. I think McCain has shown his true colors to too many people, who deep-down do care a little bit more about their country than their prejudices. This was suicide by McCain.

3. I think you're right
Cheney is much more evil than her but when it comes to knowledge of world events I think she's even behind Darth. I can't wait for her to try to pronounce the names of some of the Middle Eastern leaders.

One of the dumbest VP choices in history IMO. If he wanted a woman Kay Bailey of Texas has this one beat by a mile, why did he pass her over?

4. This fellow has an inflated idea of US political history.
Not that I want to defend Ms Palin, but, "bad US VP selections" is a wide and obscure field of inquiry, and to suggest that Ms Palin is the worst requires an argument that is more than a polemic against Ms Palin.

8. The dumbest pick since Caligula named his horse consul of Rome
Wait for the debate with Biden when she blabbles on and on about her personal relationship with Jesus :puke:

9. Hail mary
This is obviously a desperate choice, but it could end up working out for him. I sure as hell hope not. Anyone with basic intelligence can see right through McSame's motivations for picking her, but to assume that this basic intelligence exists in most Americans might be unwise.

10. He's trying to make it look like
The Republicans share as diverse a population as the Democrats do. Which is, obviously, not true. I think most of us can see straight through his pick- he's trying to make it seem like he's all for change too. Bullshit. Absolute bullshit. It makes me sick to hear Republican analysts on CNN praise him for it. He's such a fake.
I need to watch Obama's acceptance speech now to make me feel clean & intelligent...
On a better note, I just saw Obama's ad on TV about "do you really want four more years of the same old tune?"
Lolllz.

12. McCain just did a McGovern, she's the worst choice for VP since Thomas Eagleton
And hopefully she will do for his ticket what Eagleton's choice did for McGovern

13. I have this funny feeling...
I have this funny feeling that Palin will not be on the ticket come Election Day. If the poll numbers for McCain drop following the Palin announcement -- especially after the RNC convention, I wouldn't be surprised to see Palin step aside and Romney or Pawlenty step in by the end of September.

15. McCain and Palin are not the story. Watch for the massive media push
to legitimize the R's and put these misanthropes on a pedastal. The media has become aware of just how a democratic tsunami is coming their way, and the corporate masters are steadfastly enabling all out assault while the * regime is assaulting the freedoms of the Constitution (see the Greenwald article about Minneapolis raids in Salon) against citizens under his perverted departments of government.

If this election is stolen, it will be by massisve deceit and criminal actions. I am not sanctioning violence, but a "new" call to arms is possible.

16. So, bush was the worst presidential nominee and he won.
I think the Palin for VP is one of the most stupid blunder the RNC has made, but the American

sheeple love stoopid.

17. Not that Ross Perot had a chance in '92, but...
Vice Admiral James Stockdale was a very bad choice for the doomed Perot. His opening line in his first VP debate ("Who am I? Why am I here?") sealed the deal and will live in infamy. Unbelievably incredible Naval record. Terrible VP choice. Incredibly, the ticket garnered 19% of the national vote.
