Grrr idot fundie LTTE in Green Bay Paper.
http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/news/archive/opinion_14881084.shtml

(first LTTE on page.)

In 2004, anarchy rules America. Educrats destroy minds and morals of American youth. Sin for which God destroyed two cities is flaunted. Californians passed a marriage protection law (one man to one woman). A mayor breaks that law, giving marriage licenses to homosexuals. He is not arrested. Don’t try to stop a federally protected abortion, but marriage, the foundation of civilization founded by God in the Garden of Eden? The president is “troubled”; babies can’t vote and have no money, unlike the present member of Sodom-on-the-left-coast.

I just keep telling myself, In thirty years, we're gonna look down on people like these.

6. LOL - I knew what you meant
I can only hope that you're right, but I'm sure you are. We talk about this every day in our house, how people in the future will view our actions during this time.

I'd love to see this fool's reaction to Tom Tomorrow, actually. :D

4. Garden of Eden?
So adam and Eve started everything, which means that their children had to be the ones to populate the earth. So if this nut is saying that marriage started in the garden of eden, between a man and a women, then he is also stating that marriage (and sex) should be legal between brothers and sisters. Hmmmm glad to see that morally everyone is on the right track. :wtf:

5. The real problem is not this moran
because there's really only a small percentage of people in this country that feel this way. The real problem is that our leaders kowtow to these morans, instead of having them committed for the public good. Religion is just like anything else: it's fine in proportion, but when it becomes an obsessive/compulsive proposition, it's dangerous to society.

8. Nice lie there.
The crime of Sodom, in spite of the name was NOT sodomy... it was inhospitality to strangers. The mistranslation of the original (they didn't want to 'know' the strangers, implying have sex with, they wanted to rob them!) has been used for two long.

15. Let's not forget...
that when the angry mob showed up at Lot's door, and asked for the two visitors, Lot (the only rightious man in Sodom according to the Bible) offered up his two virgin ("Untouched by any man") daughters to the crowd if they would stop pounding on his door...

9. Thirty years from now...
Thirty years from now, we're going to look back and wonder what all the hysteria over gay marriage was about. We will shake our heads at the notion that a Constitutional amendment was proposed to deny a group of American citizens equal rights, just as we shake our heads today over laws that once prohibited American citizens from eating at public lunch counters because of their African ancestry.

Self-evident will be the truth that marriage is strengthened when people in committed relationships are married, and that their children are protected by the rights and responsibilities of legal union.

Thirty years from now, people of faith will no longer fall prey to fear and prejudice manipulated for political ends, and all Americans will be equal under God and the law.
