Jacobs Engineering spent $200,000 in first quarter to lobby on worker visas, other issues

NEW YORK (Associated Press) - Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. spent $200,000 in the first quarter to lobby on funding for transportation infrastructure, NASA and other issues.

The Pasadena, Calif.-based company also lobbied on H-1B visas, custom and border patrol issues, and issues relating to national laboratory funding and environmental cleanup, according to a disclosure form filed April 21 with the House clerk's office.

Jacobs Engineering Group provides scientific and specialty consulting, engineering and construction services, and other professional technical services.
