Congress Bashing
Is part of the reason so many people seem to hate Congress and politicans the fact that so many people have chosen to run against Congress? Is it possible that Congress is not that bad, but because so many people, seeking to get elected, have bashed Congress as a way to get elected that now many people think Congress does not get much done. I am not talking about the current poll numbers for Congress. I am talking about perceptions of Congress in general over a period of years.

1. our leadership, in general, is corrupt
that is, they suck, and do not act with the best interest of We, the People, in mind. As evidence, I present legislation passed over the past 40 years.

2. They are self-serving weasels who suborn the public good in favor of private advantage.
Why the heck should we like them?
