The machines were built by the thugs and they have the keys to the back doors. If.....

They want to run against Hillary and not Obama they would have a motive.

And if they want to frame Hillary for stealing votes from a black man, they would have a motive...

My first suspects are the thugs, especially since Karl Rove opened his big mouth yesterday....

There's only one thing to do. Hillary needs to support the recount..If it comes out different and Obama wins she needs to BLAME THE REPUBLICANS AND TELL THE THUGS TO STAY OUT OF OUR ELECTIONS..

1. Of course not.
The people who made the machines wouldn't ever let ANY Democrat near the levers!

2. According to the NH Sec of State
...the voting machines there are in no way linked together. There would have to be a massive conspiracy to defraud the vote...in a friggin PRIMARY! Even if the results were reversed and Obama won by 2%, they would have still split the delegates the same as they did. Even if there was a massive conspiracy, it did not work.

too many conspiracy theorists

5. AND the polls actually support what happened. Hillary and Obama
Edited on Fri Jan-11-08 07:09 AM by wlucinda
were very close among regsitered Dems in the polls. In some cases Hillary was adead by several points. Obamas lead was based on his high indy poll numbers and the indys didn't come out as expected. So when you look at the Dem figures, without the weight of big indy numbers, it worked out as projected.

6. You know that we have been talking about this on this forum since 2003
when Bev Harris showed up with the Diebold files. We always knew that if something wasn't done about the machines it was only a matter of time before the primaries were affected. This was our major talking points to the Republican voters as you may remember. If there's a paper trail in the machines, we can count those and compare them to the official number. It may be that something happened when the precents sent to numbers to the central computer. It has to be done. The polling numbers were too far off and the hand counts matched the polling data. That's a big problem and if we don't stand up now, the thugs will use this against us forever. Can't you hear them now? "You didn't want a recount when Hillary did it." she needs to support the recount. Election integrity is more important than her run for president.

BTW I'm supporting Edwards.

7. What does being linked have to do with anything?
All it takes is the machines programing. You know that propitiatory, secret computer code they won't let us see, that tells the machine how to tally the votes.

10. Well, then
They didn't do a very good job then, did they? Obama still got a split of the delegates.

If it were a vote against republicans, I may be leary, but Clinton is one of our own. The problem with this is I don't want us to be seen "cryin wolf" unless it is clear cut there is a discrepancy. If they do a recount, and the results are verified, then in essence, that's all you have done is cry wolf and the next time we need a recount, our argument is much weaker.

Do you expect a recount to differ more than four or five percent? If it doesn't, the result is the same, a split of the delegates.

Kucinich is no more than an "also ran" at this point. If he wants to buy a recount, be my guest. In my opinion, he would do the party much better if he threw his support to one of the other candidates and bowed out.

11. You are missing the point.
The machines have to be calibrated to be withing the margin of error or it would be too obvious something was wrong. It is the voting machines that is the problem. The primary is a field test for the voting machines the coming General election. This time around who wins the Democratic nomination is secondary. It is a test of the machines to see how well they can influence the outcome.
