Bolton Criticizes Bush Foreign Policy: Magazine

President George W. Bush's foreign policy is in free fall and puts the nation's security at risk, former ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton told a German magazine on Sunday.

Bolton, who was a leading hawk in the U.S. administration and favored a tough stance against Iran, North Korea and Iraq, told the Der Spiegel weekly that Bush needed to rein in Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

"His foreign policy is in free fall. The president is acting against his own judgment and instincts (and is) under the influence of Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice," he was quoted as telling the magazine.

Bolton said Rice's was the dominant voice on foreign policy and that she was a channel for the views of liberal career bureaucrats in the foreign ministry.

"(Bush) does not supervise her enough. That is a mistake," he was quoted as saying, adding that a moderate foreign policy was a threat to U.S. security.

1. I wonder what country all the crazies like Bolton will immigrate to when
they lose power. We know that bush** has land in Paraguay (or we think we know). But the reality is that we DO have an extradition with Paraguay so that would seem to let that country out. Do they have a plan just to take it all over to Dubai like Halliburton? See, I can't see a clown like Bolton going to Dubai. Maybe Isaeal.

I just don't know. I can't see them sitting still here in the US. Then again, maybe they don't think they're gonna lose control. That's another thing that I wonder about.

2. You know we're in real trouble when Condi Rice and her
"husband" look sane. I am now truly thankful that we somehow survived this wacko's stint at the U.N.

9. sending Bolton to the UN
was Bush's version of lighting a bag of poop on fire on their doorstep.

And yet, this damn burning bag of poop is still around. Why can't we put him out already?

3. Is Bolton shouting that Bush should have nuked Iraq the day the invasion began
...followed by the nuking of North Korea, Venezuela and Antarctica?

5. Bolton off to Israel unless a new leader won't let him in. Rice - she blew it already.
Nothing coming from Bolton will repair the damage she has done to herself.

Blew her legacy - vial leadership in blood, death.

Shoe shopping while bodies floated in streets.

General of the Army of Blackwater, the State Dept Army - our equivalent of the brown shirts.

What an image. What a legacy.

And Bolton thinks she is exerting too much power on the puppet. Her grip on the strings is too tight?

The ruin of the earth by jokers.

7. Dolton is a whiney loser. He has screwed up every thing he ever touched.
And it was never his fault, of course.

8. Bolton desperate to prevent peace at any cost
calls it a "threat to national security" that Condi has not nuked any babies in the last couple months.

God help me, I'm starting to wonder if she's not all bad.

Maybe that's their plan.

10. Just now on CNN Huckabee said he'd be meeting with John Bolton on Foreign Policy
next week. Blitzer asked who Huckabee's advisors on Foreign Policy are and he said Richard Hass (former undersecretary to Colin Powell) and Frank Gaffney...

So...you can see Huckabee's true leanings.
