Havana, Jul 24 (Prensa Latina) Training by members of the electoral commission, currently implemented step by step in the country, will guarantee quality of general elections in Cuba.
Those involved in organizing polls will receive details of the Electoral Law of 1992, as well as be informed on electoral ethics, responsibility and how to form voters' lists.

These lists will be provided in the future by the Identity Office and People Registration, which automatically update deaths, official changes in residence addresses or if a person is serving sentence.
Electoral Law article 172 includes among infractions illegal voting, falsification, damage, abolish or remove voters' lists, voting more than once and changing results.

The general elections in Cuba have two stages, and the first on October 21 is to choose delegates to municipality assemblies of the People's Power.

In places where candidates fail to get over 50 percent of votes, there will be a second round October 28..
According to a call published on July 9, the date for the polls to choose provincial delegates and deputies for the National Assembly of People's Power for a five-year term is yet to be defined.
