BBC's HARDtalk interview with John Le Carré - Fantastic!
Edited on Tue Jan-06-04 06:12 AM by Capt_Nemo
You must see it. The site ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/hardtalk/default.stm ) hasn't been updated yet
but when it does please don't miss it!

Just to give you a taste:

There is a moment when he is about to talk about the PNACers where
he calls them "Neo (long pause)... Conservatives".

He describes Blair as politicaly and moraly "bankrupt", "derelict".

On the final exchanges, when addressing the issue of the distinction
between the US administration and the american people he quotes
a proeminent german jew that lived under the Nazis, that reads
close to: "I am still hoping for the good germans to come forward"

Absolutely amazing!

2. Very good. It is hard to watch so many Am. reduce every thing to....
Good or evil. I guess it makes their life easier but nothing is just black and white it is always shades of gray.
