Excuse me Mr Mayor,

I hate to interrupt - I know as the front-runner you have more important issues to attend to - but there's a question I've been wanting to ask you for almost six years. I've especially been wanting to ask you since you've been going round promoting yourself as the candidate who knows best how to prevent further terrorist attacks on US soil.

Just as background, I'm a New Yorker. A Manhattanite actually. I went through the horror of the WTC attacks, lived through the terror of that morning, dashing through a deserted city, not knowing whether more attacks were on the way, desperate to find my family and get them home. Like so many I lost friends to the flames and mayhem. Like everyone I watched others grieve, friends who grieve still.

Unlike more generous souls though, I'm still waiting for someone, anyone really, to take the merest scintilla of blame for the carnage. But all I hear, time after nauseating time, is people exploiting for their own vile and venal ends, the pain and grief of my friends and fellow New Yorkers.

So excuse me for asking an impolite question Mr Mayor. Didn't 9/11 happen on YOUR WATCH?

Didn't 9/11 happen on the watch of the so-called President and so-called Vice-President, whose seizure of power nine months earlier YOU endorsed?

If he's so "tough on terror", 9/11 wouldn't have happened at all. So because the douche walked around Manhattan wearing a gasmask, he suddenly thinks he some sort of expert on terrorism. Someone needs to puncture this asshole's ego.

at a major crime scene?" . . . i.e. the steel from the WTC, which was whisked aways and melted down at, um, very deliberate speed . . . who gave that order? . . . and why? . . .
