It is essential that Bush receive a fair trial
It is essential that Bush receive a fair trial

No matter what sort of tribunal is used to try George W. Bush, his supporters will condemn the proceeding.
That’s a given.
Clearly, Bush is guilty of terrible crimes against humanity.
Still, the very essence of liberty is that no one to be punished for crimes without due process of the law.
That law, not incidentally, must be written to safeguard people, not regimes.
Bush will be brought to trial, probably in America.
It is likely that he will be convicted speedily of multiple crimes.
That fact will be seized upon by his supporters, who, no doubt, will claim it is evidence that Bush was given only a sham trial.
That makes it all the more important that the trial reveals all the horrible evidence against Bush.
If it takes weeks or months to accomplish that, so be it.
In the end, the enemies of justice and freedom will not be pacified by any disposition of Bush’s case.
But a formal trial at least will set the record straight for posterity.

Please note: this is a parody of an editorial that was recently featured in my local newspaper.

5. Here is another "parody"
Clinton Brother Business Deals Detailed in Divorce
By Reuters

Roger Clinton, younger brother of President William Jefferson Clinton, detailed lucrative business deals and admitted to engaging in sex romps with women in Asia in a deposition taken in March as part of his divorce from now ex-wife Bobbi Sue Clinton.

According to legal documents disclosed on Tuesday, Bobbi Sue Clinton's lawyers questioned Roger Clinton closely about the deals, especially a contract with Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp., a firm backed by Jiang Mianheng, the son of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin, that would pay him $2 million in stock over five years.

Marshall Davis Brown, lawyer for Bobbie Sue, expressed bewilderment at why Grace would want Clinton and at such a high price since he knew little about the semiconductor business.

``You have absolutely no educational background in semiconductors do you?'' asked Brown.

``That's correct,'' Clinton, 48, responded in the March 4 deposition, a transcript of which was read by Reuters after the Houston Chronicle first reported on the documents.

``And you have absolutely over the last 10, 15, 20 years not a lot of demonstrable business experience that would bring about a company investing $2 million in you?''

``I personally would object to the assumption that they're investing $2 million in me,'' said Clinton, who went on to explain that he knew a lot about business and had been working in Asia for years.

about Neil Bush.

(with pardons to roger clinton and the author.)

Can you imagine the amount of gas-bag air would be expended on tv and radio over these events were the show on the other foot?

7. we should start an ongoing thread
Where people post a paticularily gnarly story about a bushco/rushco lie or deed that gets no press and then change the bushco/rushco name to any clinton/dem/and or their family members. A demonstration like the above really shows the disparity in treatment.

They have Poisoned the Well and too many people have become accepting of the taste!
I would like to read many posts like this one you started!:)

10. I was hoping for a bush doll
so I could team him up in making porno videos with my barbies, skipper, and midge.

To me the chimp is devoid of any manly qualities what so ever!... but barbie and the girls can prolly come up with all kinds of twisted things to do to such a wimpy pussy boy.
