On Terrorism and its Causes
Moorhead Kennedy, acting economic counselor when the US Embassy in Tehran was seized in 1979, is executive director of The Council for International Understanding in New York and author of the forthcoming The Ayatollah in the Cathedral: Reflections of a Hostage. This article was originally prepared for the Hartford Courant and is reprinted here with their permission.

1. This is very interesting.
I recall when I lived in Alaska and the company had the Irish come in to blow up things to put in the pipe line. Every one laugh at it as they were 'said' to be from the IRA and were learing more about their trade.God only knows how mush money has been raised in this country for that country and its terrorism on England. We would not do a thing to stop that. To many voting Am Irish in this country.I guess they were freedom fighters. And we have had our own home grown ones also.
