Diggers suffering injuries in Iraq
The dangers and injuries sustained by Australian troops serving in Iraq have been revealed following the release of new documents.

The documents, obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by News Ltd newspapers, show that Australia has suffered 20 battle injures in Iraq ranging from concussions, fractures, burns and shrapnel wounds.

There has also been more than 100 non-combat injuries.

(snip)
Details of most combat action in Iraq since 2003 have been kept secret by the Australian Defence Force.
