Radio Spoof Draws Support for Nazi-Like Treatment of U.S. Muslims

CAIR Says Callers' Reaction is a 'Wake-Up Call' on Anti-Muslim Bigotry

A parody of anti-Muslim bigotry on a Washington, D.C., radio station drew support for treating American Muslims in a manner similar to how the Jewish community was targeted in Nazi Germany.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said today that the reaction to the parody is a "wake-up call" for religious and political leaders who remain silent on the issue of growing Islamophobia in America.

In his 630 WMAL program on Sunday, November 26, talk show host Jerry Klein seemed to advocate a government program to force all Muslims to wear "identifying markers." He stated: "I'm thinking either it should be an arm band, a crescent moon arm band, or it should be a crescent moon tattoo." (4:00) Klein said: "If it means that we have to round them up and do a tattoo in a place where everybody knows where to find it, then that's what we'll have to

yeah, that's the ticket! . . .

and then we can come up with a different marker for gays and lesbians . . .

and then one for environmentalists . . .

and then one for liberals and progressives . . .

oh, and of course, one for Jews . . . and one for Catholics . . . and one for Buddhists . . . and one for Hindus . . . and one for Wiccans . . .

but, hey . . . that's a lot of different "identifying markers" . . . I got a better idea . . . let's mandate that EVERY American prominently wear a badge that tells everything about him/her . . . maybe a series of horzontal strips, one on top of the other, each one color-coded for one specific identifying feature . . .

the top stripe, for example, might be "religion" -- white would be Christian, black Muslim, yellow Jews, etc. . . . then the second stripe could be "political leaning" -- blue for democrat, red for republican, green for, well, green, etc. . .

then stripes for sexual orientation, economic status, felony convictions (only two colors, yes and no), ethnic origins, and whatever else seems "important" . . . everyone would have to wear their badge any time they leave their place of residence -- and display it on their front door when they are home . . .

just imagine! . . . everyone could instantly know everything about everybody! . . .

and isn't that what we want? . . . isn't that what we NEED? . . . you know, to protect ourselves and our loved ones? . . .

It is an embarrassment to hear this kind of talk. The nuts are out of the bag and not just locally. Nationally, CNN has G. Beck calling for the killing of the president of Iran!

Last night, Beck advocates killing of Mahmoud Ahmadinezhad because the president of Iran is directing Iranian propaganda toward the USA. The RW types are scared and they have blood lust with the intention to kill.

I listened to the radio show. I cannot agree with the note within your link -
The call was clear.

The radio show host was advocating the very 'evil' action described.
