What will the Democrats do about the Big Foot problem?
This is an issue that many in the rightwing world have notice that this is an issue about which Speaker-elect Pelosi has not made any comment.

In search of an answer to this I did some research.

As many of you know the Big Foot problem first arose in the mid-70's at a time when the Democrats also had majorities in the House and Senate. Coincidence? We will explore this later. For now you should just be aware that this is basically a Dem problem and some people say it is for the Democrats to clean up now that they are accountable and in power.

Background
The Big Foot is most notably seen in the upper NorthWest of the US. This leads some to believe that they are some sort of super Canadian operative. Perhaps they are a part of the English goal of reclaiming “the colonies” perhaps their roots go back further than that, to the French. As alarming as that might be let us stick with the present and what we know.

This graphic depiction offers some up close insight to the problem at hand. A problem that appears to have the potential to grow even worse.

If we pull back we see this national crisis in more broad terms. Unfortunately the best representation of this is from geocities-please click in the link now before reading the analysis that follows.

We clearly see that the Big Foot problem is most notable along the westcoast. Some have noted that this region’s Democratic leanings and the timing of the origin of this problem (as documented above) concluding that the prevalence of Big Foots is no accident.

The large amount of Big Foots in Texas would seem to counter that line of reason until one looks closer at the sightings in Texas.

It is clear that a vast majority of the sightings are closer to the Mississippi river than not leading many to believe that they have boats. The reddish coloring of Arkansas and Missouri seem to support this. The proximity to the Gulf of Mexico has even suggested to some a correlation with the Bermuda Triangle.

Back to the US overall Big Foot map we notice a couple of other things.

Ohio’s heavy concentration may indicate the here to fore unknown ability of the Big Foot to swim, or at least a greater ability that previously documented.

The reddish hue of the Northeast states, to some, further supports the Democrat/Big Foot theories as established in regards to the west coast (see above).

The Florida data may indicate retirees or the aforementioned boats theory.

It is clear to see that the Democrats have a long way to go in resolving this issue.
Will they be able to succeed where they have failed in the past?
Will they be able to cut loose from the special interest groups’ long history on this issue?

The time to act is now. A country’s future hangs in the balance.

22. Yeah but we have enough bigfoots (bigfeet?) to stomp the world 5 times over
the science is also clear on that point as well. So what if Canada can bigfoot the world 10 times to our 5 times? The world will be stomped flat long before we exhaust our arsenals. Aren't there more important things to worry about such as the influx of Mexican squid into Pacific NW waters?

Our culture is under attack!

4. Hey... you think that's bad, we have a sea monster problem in upstate NY:
http://www.champmonster.com/?gclid=COHd5dr67IgCFQJeUAodBAtZfA

<snip>
People living along the shores of the Lake Champlain have always believed in Champ. The Native Americans that first settled the area spoke of a large horned serpent that lived in the lake. These legends were consistent with Tribes on both sides of the Lake.

In modern times there have been countless Champ sightings. Reports began showing up in newspapers in 1873, the first was an account by multiple railroad workers who reported seeing the head of a "enormous serpent" emerge from the water. They quickly ran away. In August of the same year, a steamship loaded with tourists hit the creature and almost overturned. They reported seeing the head and neck of Champ 100 feet from the boat immediately afterward.

There were many more sightings and reports, but never a photograph or any other conclusive evidence.

In the 1970's it all changed when Joseph W. Zarzynski founded the Lake Champlain Phenomena Investigation, and began actively searching for Champ. He discovered a photograph taken in 1977 by Sandra Mansi of Connecticut. She reported taking the picture while on vacation at the Lake, it has been the source of a lot of research and speculation.
</snip>

 K&R!

17. I question the underlying statistical analyses....
Well, despite the fact that there really wasn't any analyses. But if there had been, I would have questioned it, to wit: there is a high degree of autocorrelation among bigfoot sightings, i.e. if a bigfoot is seen in one place then other bigfoots (bigfeet?) are more likely to be seen near that same area than in randomly selected other areas. This violates the assumption of independence among sightings. The Texas data also suggest a high correlation between bigfoot sightings and Barbara Bush sightings. I'm just sayin'.

 Your subject line got me

to wit you may also notice that they Big Foots are all heading west.

To meet their brethren in Hollywood (see Dem/Foot theory)?
To recapture the land once ruled by France?
Or is it a liberal media bias to counteract the obvious-that they fear George W. Bush and that is why they all stay in East Texas?

26. It's NOT....I repeat NOT Bigfoot... it's the Boggy Creek Monster....

In the film, the creature is reportedly seen mainly by hunters and ranchers. It is over 6 feet tall with a slender build and long legs and arms. It is completely covered in hair and has three toes on its feet, as indicated by tracks seen in a creek bank. In one scene, a police officer states that it crossed a road in front of him at 30-35 mph, in another, the creature attacks some people in a house; they fire on it, but it sends one of them to the hospital. In another scene, hunters attempt to chase the creature with dogs, but the dogs refuse to go after it. In the end, the creature escapes all attempts to hunt it, and locals debate over whether it is dead, or still out there.

Charles B. Pierce, an ad salesman from Texarkana on the Arkansas/Texas border, borrowed $160,000 from a local trucking company, used an old movie camera, and hired locals, mainly high school and college students, to make the 87 minute long film in 1972. It generated $20 million in revenue, and is now on DVD.

....I lived in Shreveport, La. when this movie came out...rated G but it scared the bejebus outta me as I was only 5yrs. old and went to the movies to see it...then on the way home my Dad says.."that's only about 30 miles north of here..." :scared: :wow: :scared:
