Democrats question donations to Kean
Horizon gave $13,300 on day of a big vote
Friday, September 15, 2006
BY DEBORAH HOWLETT
Star-Ledger Staff

The same day state Sen. Tom Kean Jr. voted twice to let Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey keep a $40 million tax exemption, he collected $13,300 in contributions for his U.S. Senate race from 17 company executives and their family members.

Kean (R-Union) cast the votes in the final, frenetic day of the fight over the 2005 state budget.

Another crooked Republican.
I don't think there are ANY honest ones out there. They're all CROOKS. They should be locked up and put away for their crimes. ALL OF THEM.

But, I'm sure this is just a coincidence... :eyes:

2. They don't bother to hide the corruption any more
They don't even make an effort to disguise outright bribery. You would think the GOP would be a bit cautious in the current anti-incumbent climate, but like the important climate change, they couldn't care less.

3. I like Kos's quote today:
But if there's one thing New Jersey voters like less than corrupt Democrats, it's Republicans.
