Kristol advocates sending in more troops. My email to him.
William Kristol of the Weekly Standard and Rich Lowry of the National Review wrote an OpEd for the WP which advocates sending in more troops so we can achieve success.

"Administration spokesmen have jettisoned talk of "staying the course" in Iraq in favor of "adapting to win." If those words are to have meaning, the administration can't simply stay the course on current troop levels. We need to adapt to win the battle of Baghdad. We need substantially more troops in Iraq. Sending them would be a courageous act of presidential leadership appropriate to the crisis we face."

Here's my email to Customer Service at the Weekly Standard:

Dear Customer Service,

Please tell Mr. Kristol to send all of his relatives between the ages of 18 and 45 to Iraq. I'm sure that will help. And...let us know how it works out. You know, how many were killed, how many had their faces blown up, how many lost limbs.

Thank You.

1. Great letter!
Here's mine:

Mr. Kristol,

If you believe sending more troops would help ensure success in Iraq, then I suspect you would support sending not only your own relatives between the ages of 18 and 45, but also those relatives of Bush and Cheney who are of age and able to go.

If you aren't willing to send those you love to help ensure success in Iraq, then you're just another tiresome, neocon blowhard with the blood of others on his greedy, little hands.

Put up or shut up.

3. Great letter but may I suggest
it will have no effect on the man because, like most neocons, he is incapable of "loving" anyone. If kristol had 25 nephews killed in Iraq he would not possibly care less. There is no love in the heart of a neocon.

The Military is for losers like me and my relatives or didn't you get the memo? Kristol and his bunch's role in all this is to cut my bunch's benefit's and retract any previously promised or currently received payouts which we may have earned in the past. Don't want us "feeding at the public trough" you know...

4. "Adapting to win" is key phrase. After all, Nixon's 'secret plan' turned
out to be a "declaration of victory" followed by a quick departure from Saigon. Of course, they could then blame the liberal, anti-war crowd for what followed.

It would seem to me that the White House is preparing for a first class, third rate abandoning of Iraq and it's "elected government" at the first opportunity.

But of course, what will be the center of the "War on Terror" then?
