Thought we might take the House, maybe the Senate, until I heard the story
today (yesterday) about the massive systematic voting machine "tilts" in the Repugs'favor.

http://www.wnyc.org/shows/bl/episodes/2006/09/06

detailed and documented

hundreds of "phantom" Bush votes in each precinct (x for Kerry, y for Bush = total number of voters PLUS Z - a couple of hundred extra votes for Bush)

there are three major voting machine companies - ALL THREE ARE HEAVILY TILTED IN THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE REPUGS

"Mark Crispin Miller, professor of media studies at New York University and author, Fooled Again ( Basic Books 2005) - accuses George Bush of electoral fraud {particularly} in Ohio"

1. Seriously?
Is this really the first you've heard of this and other voter suppression?

2. Never like this bad. Visit the link or skim the book. We're playing
against a heavily stacked deck that would make Putin look like a piker.

Read Greg Palast, too. This stuff has been reported, just not on teevee or in most newspapers. As soon as the reported vote totals veered so sharply from the exit polls in November 2004, I, and most people I know, knew the election had been stolen. The president of Diebold publicly guaranteed he'd give it to Bush.

edit: I'm not dissing Miller, either. Far from it.

10. This phenomena has been going on since 1999
Since BushI lost the election to clinton.
I can't for the life of me figure our why Democrats
have not thoroughly addressed this situation.

Have any court papers been filed by anyone to date?

6. He did?
And what was the result of your civil suit in Federal Court?

I'ld think that would have been a slam dunk win for you and everybody else that challenged the results.

8. Republican hardware.
Republican software.
Republican technicians and 'fixers'.
Republican data transmittal and tallying.
Republican networks paying for exit polling whose data they then own to interpret any which way they want and call any which way they want - which looks like their interpretations and calls were in partnership with their lords.
Republican tricks and cooperative election officials.
No oversight. No vetting.
Indifferent citizens. Unbelieving citizens
Slam dunk.

14. Excellent Points ...
And they deserve repeating:

Republican software.
Republican technicians and 'fixers'.
Republican data transmittal and tallying.
Republican networks paying for exit polling whose data they then own to interpret any which way they want and call any which way they want - which looks like their interpretations and calls were in partnership with their lords.
Republican tricks and cooperative election officials.

Indifferent citizens. Unbelieving citizens
Slam dunk.

Kudos Higher Class for being concise as well as accurate. :applause:

15. The first one from the subject line is Republican Hardware - thought
I'd emphasize that.

Also software can be expanded to say Republican design, Republican coding, Republican routing.

Thanks fiery.
