Lebanese Children still being injured by unexploded Cluster bombs

Normally I would wait to post this until the direct link is available, but hearing stories of Children finding these unexploded Bomblets in their neighborhoods, thinking they are Toys, really pisses me off. They reported that 24 people have been killed or injured by these damn things since the July bombing started.

I'm going to bed, If someone could please repost or edit this story when it gets updated, that would be great.

...but Google Cluster+Bomb+Children and you will see all kinds of cases like this, basically every U.S. conflict since Vietnam.

cluster bombs usually need to explode to injure anyone.

6. No they are finding them, and not knowing what they are ...

...(because they can't read the warnings that are printed on them in english or Hebrew) they try to pick them up, thinking that they are some sort of toy.

These thing should not be used in civilian neighborhoods, but still they are.

7. Cluster bombs kill and maim children in disproportionate numbers.

The evidence has been clear since at least 1990. Where cluster bombs are used children will be killed and maimed in far higher numbers than adults. This was clear during the Russian-Afghan war and was used in anti-russian propoganda by the Reagan right.

Now cluster bombs are killing Arab children and they are silent.

It is clear to me that the IDF and the "Christian" right in the US are perfectly ok with killing Arab children. It will certainly be clear to EVERYONE in the Islamic world.

Good job Israel. Don't bitch when the second diaspora comes.
