5. Tweety is a spastic Horse's Patootie
Edited on Tue Aug-15-06 05:07 PM by ShortnFiery
Tweety serves Dear Leaders as the TOP Distraction and Disinformation Operative.

He spins and then quickly changes course so often it makes our heads spin. That's exactly what the Pentagon relishes in his role play.

These "NAME" type pseudo-show bastards only serve to confuse the populace.

Tweety's merely the honorary MANIC for Herr Neo-Con Rulers. :puke:

6. He also likes Allen
"I like the guy," said Tweety. This is first day in months that I watched the show. I was reminded in that one remark why I stopped.

7. That's not Journalistic Integrity ... but he never had any
Tweety's not getting any cash under the table from the Pentagon, but I wonder how many and what specific PERKS Tweety receives for his whoring behavior? He's savvy in his round-about, but forever FIRM final analysis support of Bush-Co. Administration "Unitary-Executive" Branch and their Republican Congress enablers. Something is there - I would love to have some TRUE investigative journalist uncover what exactly it is ... what's the pay-off for these News TV-Personality Talking Heads? ;)

10. Maybe the perks are going to his brother.
He has a brother, Jim Matthews, running for office as a Republican in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

15. Here's his photo. I was curious. He does resemble Tweety.

Jim Matthews

From a piece commenting on Chris's slander of Michael Moore:
There have been murmurs before on the subject, but it seems obvious that Chris Matthews is trying to help his brother Jim Matthews get elected by making sure he solidifies his conservative to moderate stance on all things. It's going to be this way until election day. Chris is trying to prove he's not a liberal pansy, which might hurt his brother across Pennsylvania as he runs for lieutenant governor. I've seen Jim Matthews before on the air with Chris and he seems like a nice enough guy, besides he's a veteran. Jim is also a Republican, which I believe explains why Chris is playing nice with the right lately, which isn't going to stop any time soon.

8. Interesting...
I didn't get that at all. It seemed to me that he was a little insulted and was playing the jilted lover. Seemed to be becoming disenamored of Allen.
Maybe I'm getting a little spacey.

9. I've not watched Hardball in many months. I used to like the show because
I thought it was a good current events round-up.

However, Tweety is so blatantly anti-democrat, I just can't stomach him or his show. :puke:

I spend that time now surfing good liberal blogs like Crooks & Liars, etc. (of course, DU as well!) .......it's done wonders for my blood pressure.

14. Gee, what would Tweety have done if a Democrat said those words?
If a Democrat had said those identical words, Tweety would have torn them apart.

But a Republican gets a pass...
