This is essentially Iran's strategy. Make life impossible for whatever stooge we prop up in Baghdad, making *their* option the most desirable one.
I am not particularly enamored with Iran, but on the other hand Iran has been nothing but a victim of american aggression for the last 50 or so years - The war with Iraq was fully sponsored and encouraged by our wonderful elected leaders.
