Rice Didn't Read the Entire Report - Daily Howler, WashPost
http://www.dailyhowler.com./dh072103.shtml

"“Warning in Iraq Report Unread/Bush, Rice Did Not See State’s Objection.” Here was the startling first paragraph:
MILBANK/PRIEST: President Bush and his national security adviser did not entirely read the most authoritative prewar assessment of U.S. intelligence on Iraq, including a State Department claim that an allegation Bush would later use in his State of the Union address was “highly dubious,” White House officials said yesterday."

" “The president of the United States is not a fact-checker,” the briefer memorably said at one point. The briefer also clearly stated that Rice had not read the full report."

mindboggling! What are they doing over there? For a real scholar, reading a 90 page report is not too tiring. Why couldn't she be bothered?

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/07/20/iraq/main564106.shtml

this link is posted in another thread regarding CIA spies being angry about the WH lies.

Unbelievable! They should all be fired for gross incompetence. I can't believe that they even admit to it!

2. Intel expert on NPR TOTN said "you'd always read footnotes FIRST"
...in these. He said the footnotes were where you got the real sense of things and in his experience that was what you look at first. A rather annoying show, all told, but that part stuck out.
